2. Maintain perfect water quality
Keep good water and the Koi will take care of themselves. Koi will have a hard enough time in the winter without having to deal with Ammonia in their environment. Even though Koi produce less Ammonia since they are dormant, providing adequate filtration will help prevent the water quality from deteriorating.
