My Koi Pond Plan

YOUR POND, ONE PLAN

Your pond, from planning to everyday care

Plan your next pond-care task, log completed work, and follow your water-test trends. Keep your pond details and calculator results together.

Free, no account needed. Plans and care records are saved only in this browser on this device. Clearing site data removes them. Download a backup to keep a copy or move to another device.

YOUR NEXT POND VISIT

Your care schedule

Choose the routines and intervals that fit your pond. See what is due, record completed work, and keep the next visit on your calendar.

Add a recurring task

Pick your own interval from 1 to 365 days. A task repeats from its chosen due date. Completing an overdue task moves it to the next scheduled date after today. Dates use your device’s local time zone.

Mark complete records the work once in your maintenance log. For water testing, add the actual readings separately under Care logs & trends. Pausing a task keeps its date; removing it keeps completed history. Logging maintenance separately does not complete a scheduled task.

Take your schedule to your calendar

Download recurring reminders for this pond’s active tasks, starting with their next scheduled dates on or after today. Choose the reminder time in your calendar’s local time zone, then import the file into your phone or desktop calendar.

This is a downloaded copy, not a synced calendar. After changing or pausing tasks here, remove the old imported events before importing again to avoid duplicates. Check your calendar app’s alert settings after import; some apps ignore imported alerts. The site does not send background, email, or push notifications. Task names, pond name, and task notes are included in the calendar file.

YOUR POND HISTORY

Water tests & maintenance

Log what you measured and the work you completed. Dates and times use your device’s local time zone.

Add a water test

Leave untested fields blank. Use the reporting units printed on your test kit. Entry limits check for mistakes; they are not safe-water limits. “Total ammonia as NH3” does not mean free ammonia alone.

Log maintenance

Record completed work. A log entry does not schedule a reminder.

Water trends

Ammonia reporting bases are charted separately. Temperature follows your plan’s preferred units; KH charts use ppm as CaCO3. Read the water-quality guide.

Pond details

Save these details before opening a calculator. You can leave measurements blank until you know them.

Optional measurements

Average depth is for volume. Maximum depth is for liner sizing. For circular ponds, use the diameter for both length and width.

NEXT STEPS

Put your plan to work

  1. Estimate water volumeStart with the size and shape.
  2. Check liner dimensionsInclude maximum depth and overlap.
  3. Plan pump flowAllow for plumbing and head loss.
  4. Explore stocking estimatesPlan for adult fish and system limits.
  5. Estimate running costsCompare equipment power use.

Calculator results are planning estimates. A saved result is a dated snapshot, not a live reading or treatment recommendation.

Saved calculator results

Compare your plans

Duplicate a plan to explore a different size or setup. Save fresh calculator results for each alternative.

Keep a copy

Download all plans, saved results, care logs, and schedules as a backup. Importing adds plans without replacing the ones already here. You can keep up to 10 plans, with 50 scheduled tasks, 500 water tests, and 500 maintenance entries per plan. Earlier plan backups are supported. Save unfinished entries before downloading. Duplicating a plan starts with empty logs and schedules.
