In a large, tranquil pond in the center of a beautiful garden lived a majestic koi fish named Koji. Koji was the largest and most beautiful koi in the pond, with his scales shimmering like gold in the sunlight. Koji was admired by all the other fish in the pond, but he was lonely, for he had no one to share his beauty with.

Every year, the small town of Hokkaido held a great koi fish race in honor of their town’s prized possession: the koi fish. The people of Hokkaido were passionate about their koi and raised them with the utmost care and love.

The day of the race had arrived, and the entire town gathered around the large pond to watch the koi compete for the grand prize. The koi were separated into different categories based on size and color, and the race would begin soon.
